The Entangled Self 5 (Pegasus) is one of a suite of 8 etchings I made in 2014 . I printed directly from human hair as I see hair as line work - many lines drawing together organically. The image of horse shaped image of Pegasus - who in mythology represents inspiration and imagination – emerged from this hair drawing. These etchings continue my interest in printing directly from the human body . Hair produces extremely fragile lines - at the limit that you can capture on an etching plate. This etching reflects on our fragility.
